iPhone 15 Series:

Tech giant Apple seems to launch iPhone 15 series in mid-September this year, just 40-45 days away from now and people are eagerly waiting for the next iPhone glimpse. While we need to wait for the official revealing but there are some rumors and leaked information given us a clue that what plans Apple have for new iPhone 15 series this year. As per some leaks, Apple may launch four models similar to last year.

Lightning port to a USB Type-C port

One of the most significant changes Apple going to make this year, is the transition from Apple’s proprietary Lightning port to a USB Type-C port. The iPhone 15 may feature a 6.1-inch display, similar to its predecessor which launched last year. And Apple is going to replace physical mute button by new and programmable “Action Button.”

Bionic A16 And A17

High expectations exist that Apple’s potent Bionic A16 chipset, which propelled the iPhone 14 Pro versions from the previous year, will be included in the iPhone 15. This would be consistent with Apple’s practice of selling less expensive devices that perform at a flagship level. The company’s newest Bionic A17 processor is also expected to raise the bar even higher for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models, establishing them as the premium options for the year.

Battery

The alleged battery capacity of the iPhone 15 models is one of the noteworthy enhancements rumored for them. The 3,877mAh battery in the regular iPhone 15 is claimed to be larger than the 3,279mAh battery in the iPhone 14. Similar to the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 15 Plus is rumored to have a 4,912mAh battery, which would be a significant improvement above the 4,325mAh capacity of the iPhone 14 Plus.

Camera

The basic iPhone 15 models are believed to have 48-megapixel rear cameras, similar to the Pro models of the iPhone 14 series in terms of photographic capability. A significant improvement over the 12-megapixel sensors used in earlier
iPhone models would be made by this upgrade. 

It’s important to keep in mind, though, that the entry-level devices might not come equipped with a LiDAR scanner or telescopic lens for optical zoom, as these functions are anticipated to be reserved for the more expensive models. The Pro Max variant, on the other hand, is expected to include a more visible camera module that houses periscope lenses that enable optical zoom of up to 5–6x, along with other supporting sensors.
